During an interview with We Got This Covered, Duffy revealed that he’s been in talks with executives about a potential series based on his films. No network has picked up the series yet, but Duffy indicated that the show would be on a channel like HBO or AMC. Indeed, in order to stay faithful to the films, the series would have to be on cable — the cursing and violence that comprise like 99% of the film would never fly on broadcast television. And yes, stars Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flanery are expected to reprise their roles.

Not going to lie, I squealed with the prospect of such happening. Though let’s hope HBO or one of the higher channels bites so it’s not as censored as it could be on AMC.

Sean Patrick Flannery and someone named Louise Linton have been cast in an indie science fiction thriller called Scavengers. The plot synopsis, according to Dark Horizons, is as follows:

When the crew of the Revelator, led by Emerson (Linton), comes across the alien-created Chaos Generator, they must fight to keep it out of the hands of her former shipmate, the sinister Captain Jekel (Flanery).

I’m just going to share the FUNNIEST part of the interview and hopefully it will entice you to go read the rest.

SEAN: For a welcome present in his trailer, I gave Norman a dozen Dunkin Donuts and he gobbled those down. It took him like two days to gobble all down. He’s like ‘Dude Flannery, thanks man, can’t wait to do this movie. It’s going to be amazing man.’ The next day I presented him with an envelope and inside it was a Polaroid with me sitting in a chair with my donut wrapped around my dong. He was like ‘TELL ME THAT WASN’T IN THE BOX! TELL ME THAT WASN’T IN THE DONUTS!’ I was like ‘I can’t lie to ya Norm, it was.’

I died a little there thank you Sean! Go read the rest of the interview!
