During an interview with We Got This Covered, Duffy revealed that he’s been in talks with executives about a potential series based on his films. No network has picked up the series yet, but Duffy indicated that the show would be on a channel like HBO or AMC. Indeed, in order to stay faithful to the films, the series would have to be on cable — the cursing and violence that comprise like 99% of the film would never fly on broadcast television. And yes, stars Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flanery are expected to reprise their roles.

Not going to lie, I squealed with the prospect of such happening. Though let’s hope HBO or one of the higher channels bites so it’s not as censored as it could be on AMC.

SEAN: For a welcome present in his trailer, I gave Norman a dozen Dunkin Donuts and he gobbled those down. It took him like two days to gobble all down. He’s like ‘Dude Flannery, thanks man, can’t wait to do this movie.
